Origin:
Snow White Discus is a selectively bred variant developed from wild Amazonian discus species. The white coloration is the result of careful genetic selection by breeders, not found in wild specimens.

Size:
Adult Snow White Discus typically grows to about 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 cm) in diameter.

Temperament:

• Peaceful and calm
• Does best in groups of 5 or more
• Non-aggressive, ideal for community tanks with other peaceful fish

Care Requirements:

• Water temperature: 82°F to 86°F (28°C to 30°C)
• pH: 6.0 to 7.0
• Requires soft, clean, and stable water conditions
• Weekly water changes are essential for health and coloration

Diet:
Omnivorous — thrives on high-quality flakes and pellets, and should be well adapted to dry feed in captivity.

Special Notes:

• Snow White Discus can sometimes show slight translucency or pinkish gill tones due to their light pigmentation.
• Best kept in a well-lit tank with a dark or contrasting background to enhance their white glow.
