Discus readily accept the food. The pellets are the size of Hikari bio gold, maybe even smaller. I was surprised that my discus readily accepted the feed, considering how picky they are to new feed. I really love that you get so much at the same price range as bio gold. The packaging is good and you even get a spoon inside so your hands dont get dirty
