Dennerle FB1 SUBSTRATE START

Description:

FB1 SubstrateStart is a highly active mixture of selected bed bacteria. All you need to do is spread it onto the layer of DeponitMix and cover it over with aquarium gravel. FB1 bacteria are activated immediately upon coming into contact with water, thus transforming the bed of the aquarium into an active bio-filter. Living humus bacteria pre-digest nutrients to convert them into a form that plants can use. For a quick, reliable start.

Dosage:
1 bag (50 g) of FB 1 SubstrateStart is sufficient for a 100 l / 80 cm aquarium, i.e. to activate up to 25 kg of bedding (5-10 kg of plant nutrient medium and 10-15 kg of aquarium gravel). A higher dosage of up to 50 g of FB 1 per 10 kg of bedding is possible.

Application:
Pour plant nutrient medium (Dennerle DeponitMix Professional) into the aquarium. Spread FB 1 SubstrateStart evenly over the nutrient medium. Cover with thoroughly washed, hardness-free aquarium gravel with a grain size of 1-2 mm (Dennerle crystal quartz gravel). In aquaria with beds consisting exclusively of gravel – e.g. Malawi and Tanganyika aquaria – spread FB 1 over the first half of the gravel layer, then pour the remaining gravel on top. Do not whirl up the bed when pouring in water. Contains living bacteria – please protect from sunlight, heat and frost. Do not store at temperatures over 25 °C.
