The Albino Golden Butterfly Discus is a selectively bred ornamental strain developed from wild Amazonian Discus species. Through careful line breeding, this variety has been refined to express a bright golden base coloration combined with the distinctive white “butterfly” pattern, where subtle markings and wing-like contrasts appear across the body and fins. The addition of albino genetics removes dark pigmentation, enhancing its luminous golden tones and producing red or pink eyes that further highlight its exotic appearance. The result is a graceful, patterned yet radiant discus that resembles a butterfly in motion.
