This variety is developed through selective breeding of wild discus species originating from the Amazon River basin in South America. The Sunshine Yellow Discus has been refined to exhibit a uniform, solid yellow body with a clean white face and zero peppering, making it a premium-grade yellow discus highly valued by breeders and hobbyists.

Size:
Adult Sunshine Yellow Discus typically grow to about 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 cm) in diameter.
