Soft Line Africa Carnivore M, in the form of sinking chips, is dedicated to carnivorous and omnivorous African fish.
The diverse carnivorous and omnivorous species thrive, especially in the waters of Lake Tanganyika. The lake is home to shell-dwellers that utilize snail shells as shelter and spawning grounds, crevice-dwellers like rock-dwelling species that live and reproduce among rocks, sand-dwelling cichlids belonging to the Xenotilapia genus, and open-water cichlids that inhabit schools, characterized by their elongated, slender body shape, from the Cyprichromis and Paracyprichromis genera. In Lake Malawi, large cichlids referred to as utaka, and in Lake Victoria, incredibly colorful fish from the Haplochromis genus, belong to this group. Apart from lakes, interesting fish species can also be found in the rivers and streams of the Congo basin, including the helmeted guinea fowl (Steatocranus casuarius). In streams and small overgrown reservoirs, you may encounter incredibly colorful red devils.
The innovative granulated fish food from the Soft Line is eagerly consumed and easily assimilated by aquarium fish. The significant hydrostability of these pellets allows them to maintain their shape in the water, with minimal swelling. The high hydrostability of the food limits the release of nutrients into the aquarium water, preventing cloudiness.
The granules consist of herring, providing excellent amino acid profile protein, crustaceans rich in unsaturated fatty acids and chitin, various species of algae, and larvae of Hermetia illucens insects, delivering a substantial energy boost. Additionally, Soft Line’s soft granules enhance fish immunity through ingredients like natural immunostimulant beta-glucan, garlic, prebiotics from algae, and vitamin C. The Soft Line foods also incorporate the fascinating planktonic crustacean, Calanus finmarchicus, a source of astaxanthin, protein rich in essential amino acids, and unsaturated fatty acids, including Omega-3. Thanks to their soft texture and the richness of ingredients used, Soft Line foods allow for a feeding approach close to natural, ensuring feeding comfort for the aquarium owner.
